Obituary of Laurene Beatrice Smith

SMITH, Laurene Beatrice (nee Linneborn) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Laurene on Friday October 7, 2011 at Port Colborne General Hospital in her 78th year. She was predeceased by her husband Gary Turner Smith (1985); her parents Carl and Beatrice; and brothers Donnie and Bud. She will be forever missed by her children Debra Geldart, Michael Smith (Kathleen), Kelley Sedgwick (Kirk), and Christopher Smith (Sherry). She was a loving grandma and will be missed by her grandchildren Kyle Geldart, Ashley Geldart (Gordon), Jackie Smith, Daryl Smith, Kristen Ferreira (Ronnie), Adam Dymond (Bonnie), Rebecca Sedgwick and great-grandchildren Jada, Dylan, Meadow, Aiden, Abby, Allyssa and Kyra. She will be missed by her brother Richard Linneborn (Cathy), her sister Carol Knowles, her sister-in-law Cassie Linneborn and many nieces and nephews. As per our Mom’s request, cremation will take place with a private family interment. She will then be at peace, reunited with her husband Gary.
