Obituary of Christine (Chris) Ann Smith

SMITH, Christine Ann (Chris) Peacefully at her home in Grimsby, on Thursday, March 31, 2011, in her 49th year. Soul mate, best friend and partner of Linda and mom to her girls Rosie and Angel. Predeceased by her father Michael. Also survived by her mother Mary and her brother Michael. Will be lovingly remembered by her many friends and family. Chris was an employee of 23 years of ArcelorMittal (Dofasco). At Chris' request, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service. Special thanks to the Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hospital, Cancer Society volunteers and drivers, West Niagara Palliative Care Team and home nurse Darlene for their compassionate care and to all of Chris' neighbours for their unforgettable acts of kindness and compassion over the last year.
