Obituary of Eric Robinson Simpson

SIMPSON, Eric Robinson Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, in his 89th year, at The Village of Wentworth Heights in Hamilton, Ontario. Predeceased by dear wife Della Cooke, parents Earle and Annie and sister Hazel. Survived by his loving daughter Carol Robertson and son-in-law and best friend Chris, of Stoney Creek and beloved grandson James of North Bay; six brothers and sisters and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Eric will be remembered by family, friends and neighbours for his strength, humility, work ethic and sense of humour. Visitation and funeral service will take place at Colchester Community Funeral Home in Truro, Nova Scotia on Saturday, January 16. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated. Our deepest gratitude to the exceptional staff of The Village of Wentworth Heights.
