Obituary of Ethel Simoncic

SIMONCIC, Ethel - of Grimsby (formerly of Hamilton) Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, November 10, 2012, in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of Ivan. Loved mother of Stefan (Kelly) , Michael (Sandy). Loving Babica to Aidan and Braedan and Grandma to Anthony, Meghan, and Carolyn. Will be missed by her family and friends overseas and here, especially those in the Slovenian community. Ethel was a retired nurse from St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, a member of St. Gregory the Great Church, the Catholic Women’s League and Bled Hall. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary 8 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Catholic Church (Delawana Dr. & Centennial Pkwy.
