Obituary of Alex Shedden

SHEDDEN, Alex At the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Marion (Rapley). Beloved father of Scott, Gary and his wife Kathy, Wayne and his wife Franca, Gail and her husband Andy Miller and Janice Fendley. Loving grandfather of Scott, Kelly, Gary, Lisa, Alex, Brandon, Elannah, Tanner and Casey and great-grandfather of Spencer and Calder. Alex was a pilot in the RCAF during WWII, Past President of Stoney Creek Kinsmen and K40 Clubs, former owner and President of Parkside Plymouth Chrysler, President of Hamilton and Burlington Auto Dealers Association (1974), 50 year member of Dundurn Masonic Lodge #475, 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite, Past President of Hamilton Shrine Club and Shriner of the Year in 1985. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, February 19 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow.
