Obituary of Ron Sheard

SHEARD, Ron Peacefully and surrounded by his loving family, at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Saturday, May 9, 2009, in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Penny. Loving father of Lyndsay Sheard (Brian) and Katie and her husband Ryan Gallagher. Dear son of Lana and the late Ralph Sheard and son in law of Thelma and the late Jack Montgomery. Ron will also be sadly missed by his sister Jo Ann and her husband Vitas Gedrimas and their daughters; Krista, Julija and Alana. Ron was an avid sportsman and was a proud long time member of the Sharks Hockey Team. Ron had also been with the Royal Bank for over 25 years. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church, Stoney Creek. Interment Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. Ron had a great love for animals and a donation to the S.P.C.A. in his memory would be appreciated by the family.
