Obituary of Althea Mabel Blaney

BLANEY, Althea Mabel Entered peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, at McMaster Medical Centre, on Saturday, April 11, 2009 in her 70th year, of Stoney Creek and formerly of Mississauga. Beloved wife of the late Carle Blaney. Loving mother of Michele (Derek)D’Costa and Adrian (Ruth) Blaney. Dear grandmother of Kyle, Erika, Tyler, Kaitlyn D'Costa, Liam Blaney Melody, Phillip and Jeremy Jolin. Dear sister of Basil and Faye Dring, Trevor and Carole Dring and Cedric and Peggy Dring. Will also be sadly missed by all of her nieces and nephews. Special thank you to all of the staff of Ward 4 Z at McMaster Hospital for their personal care and compassion, you will not be forgotten. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 4-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 16th at 10:30 a.m.. Cremation to follow.
