We mourn the death of those we admire and love because of the hole their departure leaves in our lives. No more in this world will we share the gentle wit, wisdom and humour of Christiane. But we find consolation in the knowledge that she no longer knows pain and suffering but only the joy and love of heaven . . . and the certainty that this parting is only temporary. Our grandson, Graeme, was truly fortunate in having her for his "special Oma".

My deepest sympathies to Lynda, Dusan and Patrick for their great loss. I met Lynda's mum through our friendship. Lynda and her mother had an incredible relationship - one that is rare these days between mother and daughter. They were best friends and inseperable. She was a beautiful human being full of laughter and joy. I will never forget the sparkle in her eyes and her incredible smile. She is and always will be smiling over all of you from the stars above. God bless.

Craig, Graeme and I will sorely miss Christiane. Graeme had only just started being able to say 'Oma' and recognize her in pictures, but he enjoyed his time spent with her as much as she made us feel she loved spending time with him. From the first time we met, she made us all feel welcomed, cherished and part of her family. The great love she had for Dusan and Lynda was evident in everything she did and said. Even in her illness she shone with good humour and best wishes, making us feel happy to be with her, and not letting us dwell on how we would eventually have to say goodbye. We are so sorry for the loss Dusan, Lynda, Patrick and their extended family are now faced with, and we know Christiane will be remembered everyday for the beautiful, funny and wonderful woman she was.

I am so grateful that I had the chance to get to know and grow to love Christiane over the past three years. Christiane was a wonderful Mom to Lynda and this helped make her into the wonderful woman she is. Christiane has been very kind to me since the first time we met in 2005. I am thankful that she had the chance to meet my Mom before she passed on in 2006. I know they are together now watching over Lynda, Dusan and I and are happy that we all have each other. Good bye "Muti". I love you.

Mr. Satelmajer, Lynda and Patrick
Your Wife and Mom was a beautiful person and I have so many wonderful memories of her growing up and the fun times we shared. Special Christmas dinners with fancy lady bug chocolates on our plate, homemade cheesecake, and all the fun times I had teasing Mitsi the cat! She had a gorgeous infectious smile and beautiful eyes. She made me feel special every time I saw her and she will be greatly missed. Whenever I see a lady bug I will think of her with fondness.
Love Andrea (Burris) Poirier, and family Phil, Jake and Andrew

Dear Dusan and Lynda,
I am so sorry to hear of "Chris'" passing...I feel very bad that I never got back to "Bob's" after seeing Chris after my Auntie Estelle passed away...my thoughts were there with Chris but I just couldn't go back there but I'm sure you will understand this...
My mom and I were sitting having dinner last night both us wondering how Chris was doing...
In the short time I knew Chris, I just knew she was such a special person and we had many laughs and long chats..I feel blessed that I got to meet her.
Chris and Auntie Estelle hit it off instantly and my hope is that they are spending time together again....
My thoughts are with you...
Sincerely
Lisa
