Obituary of Hilda May Florence Black

BLACK, Hilda May Florence Passed away peacefully, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Saturday, April 21, 2012 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Elmer. Loving mother of Bruce (Lynda) Rodgers, Jim Rodgers, Randy (Dianne) Black and son-in-law Jim Kennedy. Cherished grandmother of Patti (Rick), Debbie, Rob (Christine), Melanie (Mike), Heather (Cameron), Miranda and Tyler. Hilda was predeceased by daughter Betty and grandson David. Dear sister of Evelyn Henderson. Predeceased by brothers Norm, Herb, Gord and Oscar and sisters Doris and Muriel. Will also be fondly remembered by her great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
