Obituary of Jack Sahagian

SAHAGIAN, Jack Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday, July 5, 2011, in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Marion Robertson. Loved father of Peter and his wife Nancy, Sandra and her husband Terry Whalen, Judy and her husband Mark Joel. Devoted grandfather to his grandchildren; Sarah, Victoria, Pierce, Jared, Alyssa, Jon, and Andrew. Lovingly remembered by Flora Sahagian, Linda and Ted Mlot, Miriam and Brian Brygier, Leslie and Patrick Holmes and their families. Jack was a Past President of the Stoney Creek Optimist Club, a Past President of the Traffic Club of Hamilton and was retired with over 51 years of service in the Transportation Industry. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Church of our Saviour the Redeemer, 25 Lake Ave. South, Stoney Creek on Friday, July 8th at 11 a.m. Interment Mountview Gardens. As an expression of sympathy donations to St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation in support of the Nephrology Department and the King St. Dialysis Unit, would be appreciated.
