Obituary of Verna Ruth Roy

ROY, Verna Ruth (nee Hutchinson) Passed away peacefully at Henderson Hospital on January 26, 2009 at the age of 67. Predeceased by her husband Tony (2000). Beloved mother of Rhonda (Ernie). Cherished Nana of Caitlin, Kiley and Dakota. She will be sadly missed by her mother Isabel and brothers and sisters Olga (Aldo), Charlie (Irma), Clair, Elmer (Helen), Eleanor (Lorne), Steven (Cindy), and Priscilla (Randy). Her selfless, caring and loving nature will be missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to her best friends Gail and Darlene. Verna was a long time employee of Intermetco/Capco of 42 years and will be fondly remembered by her co-workers. We thank Dr. Tozer and the nursing staff of the Oncology Department at Henderson Hospital for their loving care during her stay. Cremation has taken place.
