Obituary of Mabel Rogers

ROGERS, Mabel Peacefully with her family at her side at the Pine Villa Nursing Home on Saturday, April 2, 2011, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late John. Loved mother of Dave (Mary), Jack (Jan), Debra (Don Robertson). Predeceased by her son Wayne and daughter Eleanor. Loved grandma of Elizabeth (Biagio Di Battista), Michelle (Dave Allan), Lee Ann (Scott Lochhead), David (Barbara), Bonnie (Brandon Koepke), Shelley, Karen (Matthew Whiteman), Laura Robertson and ten great-grandchildren. Mabel was a member of Wesley United Church and the U.C.W. and a member of the Rosedale Chapter of the Eastern Star. Special thank you to the staff of Pine Villa Nursing Home for the kindness and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 6th at 1.00 p.m. Interment Queenslawn Cemetery, Grimsby.
