Obituary of David L. Robertson

ROBERTSON, David L. It is with great sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of David L. Robertson in his 66th year, at home with his family by his side. Husband and best friend to Lorna Robertson (Galbraith) for 46 years. Devoted father to Dianna (Lee) Kuhn, David (Elizabeth) Robertson and James (Kari) Robertson. Loving son of William (deceased) and Isabel Robertson. Brother of Janet (Ray) Burdett. Brother-in-law to Marjorie Shaw (George deceased), Charlotte (Gerry) Pomerleau, Allan (Elaine) Galbraith and Hazel Pierce (deceased). Cherished grandfather of Lee (Christie) Kuhn, Kandice Kuhn, Ashley and Michael Robertson, Juliana, Isabella and Sofia Robertson. Great-grandfather to Hayden Chorley-Kuhn. David will be sadly missed by his nephews William (Christine) Burdett, Raymond (Debbie) Burdett and niece Jacqueline (Ken) Rule, as well as great-nephews Scott, Ryan, Joel, Dylan, Erin and nieces Jennifer and Stephanie. Special friend to John (Danya) Liddle. David was a retired employee of Dofasco in his 40th year. The family will receive friends at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 16 at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow.
