Bird, James (Jim) (Retired employee of the Canadian National Railway with 36 years of service) Peacefully, surrounded by his family, at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Wednesday, December 5, 2007, in his 94th year. Jim was the loving husband of Geraldine for 70 years. Loving father of Jim and his wife Beverley and Barbara Page and her husband David. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Brian, Jim, Glenn, Karen, Jason and Carolyn. Great-grandad of 10 great-grand children. Predeceased by his grandsons Donnie (1985) and David (1992). The family will receive friends at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service in the chapel on Monday, December 10, 2007 at 1:30 P.M. Interment at Eastlawn Cemetery.
