Obituary of Dorothy Violet Rice

RICE, Dorothy Violet (nee Perkins) Peacefully at Idlewyld manor in Hamilton on November 23, 2012 in her 87th year. Loving sister of Shirley Stewart (the late Dr. Donald Stewart). Cherished cousin of Doug, Bruce, Roger Thomas (Judy) and Bob Locke. Predeceased by her cousin Linda Thomas. Special thanks to all the staff at Idlewyld manor for their care and kindness. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery.
