Obituary of Brian Peter Rhodes

RHODES, Brian Peter March 12, 1927-August 10, 2013 Passed away quietly, with his wife by his side, at St. Peter’s Hospital, after a lengthy 3 month stay at Juravinski Hospital, while treated for myeloma. Dearest hubbie of Joan. He was the light of her life. Dear dad of Pamela Andrews (Bob) and family of Bowmanville, Kimberley Jones (Brad) and family, and Wendy. He was a good friend to Joan’s two boys, Jeff Gibb and Kevin Gibb (Anita). Will be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Karen Brouwer and nephew Johnathan Brouwer. Peter and Joan had a lot of good travelling memories. They loved taking cruises and land trips to far-a-way places. Peter was the Service Manager of Eaton’s, retiring in March 1990. Peter and Joan also worked at Lake Griffin State Park in Florida for 10 years. In keeping with Peter’s wishes, there will be no Visitation or Funeral Service. Cremation has taken place.
