Obituary of Lorraine Reid

REID, Lorraine Peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, May 17, 2012, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Jack Reid. Cherished mother of Lynn and husband Rejean and Scott and his wife Elli. Grandma will be missed by her grandchildren Drew, Nicole, Chelaine, Daniel and Janelle. Lorraine will also be missed by her sister Pat (Jim), her sister-in-law Edna, brother-in-law Bob, nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as her Cheyne Presbyterian Family. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 (there will be no visitation on Sunday evening or Monday) and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Lorraine's Life will be held at Cheyne Presbyterian Church, the corner of King and First St. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Cheyne Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family. Our family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this time.
