Obituary of Brian Thomas Rees

REES, Brian Thomas Passed away suddenly at the age of 69 on April 30, 2013 at his home in Mountsberg. Brian is survived by his seven children, Kelly and her partner Todd, Michael and his girlfriend Kim, Shona and her husband Chris, Brandon and his wife Renee, Jana, Caitlin and Gavin; his three grandchildren Andrew, Ella and Sarah. Also remembered by his three brothers Alan, Gordon, Colin, and his sister Debbie. Loving friend of Sandra and best friend Lorraine. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and the rest of his relatives and friends. Brian was an avid outdoorsman who was passionate about the environment. He enjoyed fishing, archery, hiking and volunteering his time coaching hockey. Brian was a deeply spiritual man who committed himself to teaching others about our beautiful planet. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday May 2, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
