Obituary of Milan (Mike) Rajic

RAJIC, Milan (Mike) Surrounded by his family, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, July 2, 2009, of Stoney Creek in his 72nd year. Beloved son of Draginja and the late Petar Rajic. Beloved husband of Gospava. Beloved father of Dragan and Bojana and her husband Borko Gligic. Loving Deda of Jovan, Danijela and Nikola. Dear brother of Nedjo, Mira and the late Nikica. Will be remembered and greatly missed by his family, Kumovi and friends both here and in Serbia, England and Milwaukee. Mike was the sole proprietor of Mike’s Painting and Decorating, especially known for his work with Kiwanis. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Hamilton General Hospital, especially Melinda and the ICU staff. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday and Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Pomen on Saturday and Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton on Monday, July 6 at 11 a.m. with the Very Reverend Father Lazar Vukojev and the Very Reverend Father Stojsavlijevic officiating. Interment Mountview Gardens.
