Obituary of Kenneth John Birch

BIRCH, Kenneth John Peacefully in his 80th year surrounded by family at the Henderson Hospital on Sunday, February 21, 2010. Loved and loving husband of Lee (Loretta Spencer) and loved father of Debbie Bramer (Rick Pegg), Brenda DellaMaestra (David), and Larry (Jane). Loving grandfather of Kirk (Melanie), Britannie, Amber, Alicia, Nicholas, Brendan, Kristen and Jacob, predeceased by Jeremy. Survived by his sister Doris Curtis (Duncan deceased) and brother Stanley (Arlene). Predeceased by siblings Lottie (Frank), Christopher (Mary), and Peggy (Midge). Ken will be missed by many nieces, nephews and family friends. Ken worked at Dofasco for 43 years prior to his retirement. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the Surgery/Oncology (E2) and ICU for their excellent care and compassion. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 25th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
