Obituary of Laurence Angus Ptolemy

PTOLEMY, Laurence Angus In his 92nd year, on Friday April 26th 2013, he passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, surrounded by love, at the Juravinski Hospital. Dear brother of Craig (Marguerite). Predeceased by his brother Gordon (Joyce), his sister Mary Laidman (Doug). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear cousin, lifelong friend and mentor to the Whitwell family. As a lifetime resident of Binbrook, he demonstrated a noble heart, which encompassed his community and its people. He was a member and long term Elder of Knox Presbyterian Church and a founding member of Glanbrook Home Support. Also a member of the Binbrook Agricultural Society, the Orange Lodge and more recently Harmony Masonic Lodge. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Knox Presbyterian Church in Binbrook on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11.00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of his Life at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Knox Presbyterian Church or Glanbrook Home Support would be greatly appreciated.
