Obituary of Stefan Prsa

PRSA, Stefan Peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 11, 2012 at Juravinski Hospital, in his 76th year. Loving husband to Theresia. Cherished father to Diana Nedelko (Danny) and Sandra Stevens (Jason). Beloved Dedek to Michael and Christopher. Survived by his sisters Marija (Karl) and Theresa (Frank), brother Ignac and brother-in-law Ivan Gjerek. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Ema. Stefan was a proud, longtime parishioner at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Church and retired employee of Dofasco with 33 years of service. Special thank you to Dr. Paul Andrus, Dr. Wong, Dr. Marshall and all the nurses at Juravinski Hospital, CCAC and Bayshore for their exceptional care. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great Slovenian Church on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
