Obituary of Doris Power

POWER, Doris (Ruggles) Peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on Thursday, July 22, 2010, in her 80th year. Wife of the late Perry Power. Beloved mother of Donna and Frank Driscoll. Loving Grandma of Brendan (Kim) and Sean and great-grandma of Brittney and Larissa. Dear sister of Lawrence and Allison both of Hamilton and Isabel McLulay, Helen Jenkins, Hazel (Ken) Read, Vernon (Ella) and Ella Jean Costly all of Nova Scotia. Predeceased by her brother Harold. Sister-in-law of Christine, Esther and Bruce Rowlings and Victor and Jessie Ann Power all of Nova Scotia. She was a Grandma to many. Survived by nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, July 26 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Grove Cemetery, Dundas. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
