Obituary of John Horace Pottruff

POTTRUFF, John Horace Peacefully at his residence, on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in his 71st year. Beloved long time companion of Rosemary. Loved father of Charlene and David, Shane and Kelly and predeceased by daughter Melinda Marie. Dear grandfather of Lillian and Madeline. Brother of Margaret and the late Milton Fletcher, Lorraine and the late Don Weylie, Lorne and Marilyn and sister-in-law Marion. Predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Mary and his brother Vernon. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John was a retired employee of Dofasco and also enjoyed being a member of the Hamilton Horseshoe Club. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. At John’s request, there will be no Funeral Service.
