Remembering Garnet was easy, we shared many good times with Garnet & Amy, over the past 50 years. Garnet delivered milk to our home, and heard some country music being played, he knocked and ask if he could listen. From then on our friendship began. Many good times were had through business and pleasure.
P.S. Noella got her nickname Lou from Amy.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you all through these difficult times.

From: Barbara Dowin. I am so sorry to hear of Garnet's passing. My most sincere condolences to his family. I have known Garnet since working with Karen in the early 70's and have had the opportunity of doing business with him on an annual basis for many years. I always enjoyed our phone conversations, when he would update me on his family, that he was so proud of and never failed to ask about mine. His obituary describes him perfectly, a real gentleman.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences to you all from afar.
Garnet clearly holds a very special place among his family and friends. During those times that we shared a couple of Garnet's milestone birthdays with the entire family, there was so much evidence, too, of the wonderful job that Garnet and Amy did in raising terrific children. I'm sure he was - and is - extremely proud of the family that honours his memory today.
My thoughts are with you.

To Max, Karen, Jim and families: Chris and I are currently out of the country on vacation. Our daughter emailed us this morning to say that Garnet passed away. How unfortunate. We are deeply, deeply saddened. We always enjoyed our contact with Garnet over the many many years on both a personal and business basis. The obituary speaks for itself. The best way to describe Garnet was a gentleman, a true gentleman. He will be fondly remembered always as will Amy. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.

It is a sad day to hear of the passing of Garnet. Both Garnet & Amy were very special people. They always had kind words for my family and we were always welcomed into their home with love. I remember when Maxine and I were young and starting our own families ... Garnet gave us the opportunity to work in his realty business ... and he always treated us with respect. He will be missed very much. Both Garnet & Amy were one of a kind ...
Know we are thinking of you all during this very hard time...
