Obituary of Danica Picyk

PICYK, Danica - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Hamilton General Hospital, on Friday, May 6, 2011, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late Michael. Loving mother of Wayne and his wife Shari and Lillian Kalte and her husband Paul. Dear grandmother of Michael, Danica and Madelynn. Dear sister of Smilja Orlic, Zora Kozomora (Momcilo), Mira Babic (Rade), Stojanka Mirkovic (Mile), Bosiljka Vincic (Branko), Njegoslava Latinkic (Ljubo) and Dobrila Olivieri (Anthony). Danica will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews here and in Serbia. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen Monday at 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton , on Tuesday, May 10th at 12 noon, with the Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Oakville.
