Obituary of Lury Philip

PHILIP, Lury At the Juravinski Hospital with her family by her side, on Sunday, October 24, 2010, in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband, Warren. Loving mother of Murray (Beulah) and Verna Van Velden (Jon). She will be sadly missed by her many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Survived by her siblings Millie, Art, Alex and David. Predeceased by Don, Violet and Ken. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, October 28 at 1 p.m. (Due to road construction please follow Second St. N. from King St. to right turn on Charles St.) Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
