Obituary of Mary Beveridge

BEVERIDGE, Mary It is with great sorrow the family of Mary Beveridge (nee Markey) announce her passing on August 11th, 2013 at 87 years young. Predeceased by her husband Robert Beveridge and daughter Bonny Phalen. Loving Mum to Barb (Rick Norman), Wendy (Fergus Reid), Robin (Marcel Mathon). Loving mother-in- law of George Phalen. Loving and proud Nana to Bobby Norman (Sara), M.J. Pouliot (Chris), Laura Hokstad (Brad) and Mary-Kathleen Hokstad. Loving and proud Nana “G” to Samantha, Madison, Isabella, and Ali. Mary was truly a member of the “Greatest Generation”, her compassion, love of life and love for her family will be remembered. We will cherish our memories and reflect upon her “Nanaisms” and Pearls of Wisdom on life and politics. She loved spending time with family, playing bridge, winning at the casino, and a good party. In respect of her wishes, cremation has taken place. In honour of her memory the family will be together at Round Lake for a celebration of her life fit for our Queen.
