Obituary of Dawson (Ray) Peever

PEEVER, Dawson (Ray) Peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital, on Friday, September 5, 2008, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Jean. Dear stepfather of Mary Jean Berm and her husband Richard of South River, and Billy Diggins and his wife Paula of Antigonish, N.S. Loved Papa of Jennifer, David, Julia, Michaela and Mindy, and great-grandchildren Riley, Nick, Victoria, Trevor, Melissa, Autumn and Aaron. Dear brother of Hazel Francom and Georgina Raymond. Predeceased by his brothers Kenneth, Clarence and his sister Marjorie. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Ray was a retired employee of Stelco with over 32 years of service. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Ave. Drive, Stoney Creek on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, September 8 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
