Obituary of Walter Edgar Berry

BERRY, Walter Edgar Suddenly, at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the age of 55. Beloved husband and soul mate of Wendy of 23 years. Cherished father of Joey, Raymond (Shawna) and Stephanie (Danny). Loving Papa of Cloey, Kathleen, Russell, Rayne, Daniel and Sianna. Son of Bernice and the late Ransford Berry. Will be missed by his brothers, sisters, especially Howard, Marjorie, Helen and Leta, sisters-in-law Leisa and Marilyn, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Will also be missed by his best friends Dan, Nancy, Daniel, Trina the protector and Ernie. Special friend of Joe and Bev Boomhower of 22 years. Walter loved the outdoors. His favourite time was spent with his grandchildren, hiking and fishing. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
