Obituary of Ernie Bergstrand

BERGSTRAND, Ernie Passed away at Edgewater Gardens Long Term Care on Thursday, October 4, 2012 in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Theresa. Cherished father of Linda (Ron) Piesanen, Randy (Lorraine), Robert (Marie), and Brad (Darlene). Devoted grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Sylvia, Lily and Edith. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ernie was a 67 year member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 67. Special thanks to the staff of Edgewater Gardens for all of their care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 10 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
