Obituary of Barbara Nowicki

NOWICKI, Barbara (nee Piszczek) - Peacefully with her family at her side at St. Joseph's Hospital, on Friday, November 16, 2007, in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Nowicki. Loved mother of Mary Nowicki of Hamilton and Tom and his wife Monika of Toronto. Cherished Babcia of Maya. Dear sister-in-law of Emilia Gudowski, Bronek (Lillian) Nowicki, and Kazimierz (Teresa) Nowicki. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, and her family in Poland. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters in Poland, her sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Maria and Kazimierz Miszuk and Chester Gudowski all of Hamilton. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rosary Monday evening at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church, Barton St. E. at St. Ann St. on Tuesday, November 20th at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In Barbara's memory, donations to St. Stanislaus Church Renovation Fund or the Lung Association would be appreciated by her family. Mama, your smiles, laughter and feisty spirit will live in our memories forever.
