NORTH, James Levi After a long battle fought with courage and dignity, it is with great sadness the family of James North announces his passing on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at his home where he loved to be with his family. Beloved husband of Shirley. A devoted father to Michelle (Dennis) and Michael (Eva). Cherished Grandpa of Kyle, Zachary, Mitchell, Taylor, Samantha, Andrew, Matthew. Loving brother of Edna Grills and Robert North, and the late Roy North and Marian Lampman. Also survived by many nieces and nephew. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avene Drive, Stoney Creek (to avoid road construction please follow Second St. North from King St. to right turn on Charles St.) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
