Obituary of Sijtze (Cecil) Bouwe Bergsma

BERGSMA, Sijtze Bouwe (Cecil) After a brief illness, Cecil passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Allana. Loving father of Andrew (Rosalie), Alan (Lisa), Joyce, Lisa Marie and Danielle. Dear Pake of 9 grandchildren. Dear brother of Rennie (Deceased), Ed (Heather), Jane (Al) Vandenakker, Joanne (Fred) West, and Jill (J.B.) Vokes. Will also be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Doctors and Staff of the I.C.U. at St. Joseph’s Hospital for all of their care and compassion. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. and Friday from 11:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. (Due to road construction please take Second St. North from King St. And turn right on Charles St.).
