BENZINGER, Helen (nee Gillespie) It is great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Helen on Saturday, July 9, 2011. Beloved wife of Ernest. Dear mother of Linda (Stan Scott), Cathy Pollock-Grieve (Stewart), and Robert. Loving grandmother of Gordie, Jason, Cheri (Sean), Lori (Arron) and Stephanie, and great-grandmother of Hailey, Tyler, Rylee, Tyler and Breanna. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, July 13th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery. In Helen’s memory, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
