Obituary of Doris Gertrude Neely

NEELY, Doris Gertrude Passed away peacefully and with her family by her side, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Friday, June 19, 2009 in her 89th year. Doris was a hero to her children and will be lovingly remembered by Valetta and Pat Duggan (Steve and Allison, Randy, Teresa and Sid), Dave and Dawn Neely (Virginia and John, Brent and Liz, Craig, and Robbie), daughter-in-law Debbie Neely (Melissa and Bob, and Michael), Lorraine and Ed Luke (Joe, Mark and Betty-Ann, Chris and Dana). Predeceased by her son Mike, her partner Bob Fitzpatrick and granddaughters; Inta, Marsha and Andrea. Will also be lovingly remembered by 27 great and great-great-grandchildren. Also predeceased by her mother Gertrude her brother Pat and sister Maureen. Doris will be remembered by her family and friends for her generous and kind spirit. Special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses of C.T.U. West at St. Joseph’s Hospital, for all of their compassion and Care. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME 36 Lake Ave. Dr., Stoney Creek, on Thursday, June 25 from 2 p.m. until the funeral service at 3 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
