Obituary of Joy Patricia Muir

MUIR, Joy Patricia (nee McCurdy) It is with heart filled sorrow we announce the sudden passing of our “Joy to the World” on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Our “Joy” in life will be remembered by many, leaving us to join her loving partner Norm, who left 9 years previous. Gone but not forgotten is the “Joy” who brightened and touched the lives of many, in her warm and endearing ways. Her acts of kindness, her energy and her passion for life were insurmountable but, this classy lady still yearned for the companionship with Norm. She was a “Joy” to all that she knew, a true inspiration that is reflected in her children Brad and Branka, granddaughters Tijana and Elycia, and Kathy, her brother Jim, nephew John and niece Deena. “Nana” filled the hearts of many, both lifelong and recent, and will be sadly missed by Ron, Heather and Bob, Donna, Dawn, Judy, Ann, Jack, starting an endless list of extended family and friends. Our “Joy” has declined a viewing, Funeral Service or memorial as she wants to be remembered as she was to all.
