Obituary of Jagoda Mrmak

MRMAK, Jagoda 1920-2013 It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Jagoda Mrmak on Sunday, September 8, 2013 in her 93rd year. Beloved mother of John (Sandra), Milka, Stevan (Mira), Nikola (Cathy), Savka (Vojo), Dragan and Nevenka (Ivan). Jagoda was born on October 22, 1920 in Village Sumetlice, Slavonija, Yugoslavia to parents Pane and Milka Slavojevic and she had two brothers Nikola and Jovo who all predeceased her. She was also predeceased by husband of 32 years, Mihajlo and first born daughter Mara. Jagoda will be remembered by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous relatives, kumovi and friends in both Europe and North America. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with The Very Reverend Father Vojislav Pavlovic and The Very Reverend Father Stevo Stojsavljevich officiating. Interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
