Obituary of Jack Morton

MORTON, Jack Passed away suddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Carolyn. Amazing father of Les (Cathy), Jeff (Rose), Laurie Mattason (Lee). Devoted PapPap of Chad, Kyle, Erin, Amanda, Jessica, Kevin, Alex and Great-PapPap of Bentley. Will be missed by his sister Marion Kruise, of PA, sister-in-law Judy Johnstone and many nieces and nephews. Jack was the founder of Town Car Limousine Inc. and had a general love for people. He was in the US Marine Corps and an avid sports fan. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Special thank you to Dr. Craig Ainsworth and the nursing staff in cardiac ICU at Hamilton General for the compassionate and excellent care. A Funeral Service will be held in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 followed by interment. A Celebration of Life will be held at Burlington Arts Centre, Shoreline Room, 1333 Lakeshore Rd., Burlington, on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 1-4:30 p.m. A service will be held during the celebration of life from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
