Obituary of John P. Mitchell

MITCHELL, John P. At the Juravinski Hospital, on Sunday, May 22, 2011, in his 65th year. Loving husband of Denise (Overholster) for 42 years. Beloved father of John Jr. and Jodi (Steve). Loving grandfather of Lewis Sinnett and Justine Carter. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Margaret Mitchell. Son-in-law of Lorne and June Overholster. Dear brother of Joyce, the late Bruce (Brenda), Bill (Sharon), Lillian (Alan), June, Mary (Jack) and Dennis (Sharon). Brother-in-law of Lorne and Roberta, Byron and Corinne and Duane and Jane. He will be fondly remembered by Wanda and Maria, Kelley and Pat and also sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. John was a former employee of John Inglis and of Aero-Kit Industries. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7- 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
