Obituary of John Kenneth Bell

BELL, John Kenneth (Ken) March 2, 1935-July 10, 2011 Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital, Ken was called home to be with his Lord and Saviour. Cherished and loved husband of Lois (Gerrard) for over 50 years. Devoted father of Garnet and Elaine (Rev. Jon Winter). Proud grandpa of Aaron, Jacob, and Benjamin. Loving Papa of Laura and Christian Bell-Arthey. Remembered by his sister Elizabeth (Betty) Fallis and her children Lisa and Mitchell, his Aunts Ivy Balsdon and Dorothy Thomsett and many cousins. Predeceased by his parents Rev. Alfred and Masie Bell. Ken retired from CNR after 38 years and was a member of the Hamilton Stamp Club. A faithful member of Philpott Memorial Church, previously attending Westside and Hughson St. Baptist Churches. Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Ken’s life will be held at Philpott Memorial Church, 84 York Blvd., Hamilton, Tuesday, August 2nd at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
