I was very saddened to hear of John's all too sudden passing. I have many fond memories of John from my earlier days such golfing at Chedoke every day, playing cards and various social events over the recent years.
It is tragic that it happened so soon after he retired and was looking forward to moving on to the next chapter in his life.
I cannot imagine anyone having a bad thing to say about John - he enjoyed life and was a loyal friend and acquaintance to many .
