Obituary of Nikola Miletic

MILETIC, Nikola It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of an extraordinary man. Surrounded by his loving family, Nikola entered into rest on Orthodox Easter Sunday, April 27, 2008, in his 73rd year. Loving husband of Olga for 42 years. Devoted Daddy of Jelisaveta (Sava) Vukelich, Gordana (Petar) Ljuboja, Snezana (Aleksandar) Stankovic. Cherished Deda of Boris, Juliana and Natalia; Mirko, Nikola and Olivia; Nenad and Jasmina. Adored brother of Koviljka (Milan) and Dr. Miroslav Miletic (Borka). Dear Uncle of Dragan, Zoran, Maria and Jakov. Will be sadly missed by many family and friends in Serbia and Canada. Heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Joseph's Hospital. A special thanks to Nory, Marsha, Stella, Dr. Erin Beattie, and Dr. Boyle for their tireless devotion. The family will receive friends at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, April 30th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Pomen Wednesday Evening at 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, 153 Nash Road South, Hamilton, on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., with the Very Reverend Fathers Lazar Vukojev and Djuro Samec officiating.
