Obituary of Petronella Meulendyks

MEULENDYKS, Petronella With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear Mother and Oma, Petronella on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at St. Peter’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She is reunited with her best friend and husband the late Marinus Meulendyks. She will be dearly missed by daughter Jeanette (Zenko) Litniansky, sons Marinus (Lorrie), and Arnold (Lisa). Dear Oma of Michelle and Michael (Cassandra) Litniansky, Stephanie, Marinus Jr. (Vanessa), Bruce, Andrew, Vanessa, Jeff and Brian. Will also be missed by sister Ria and many family and friends in Holland. Special thanks to the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital 3 West for their love and compassion and to the staff at the Hamilton General Hospital Cardiac Unit. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow.
