When I remember Vic at Mack Truck ,
I can't help but snickering at the antics he pulled off.
He aquired Ben Khitab's accent , and would call in Fran and Janice to take notes..
Every one appreciated his quick wit, we all knew he
really was a great guy to be around.

We were best buds for almost 38 years and I have so many wonderful, crazy memories. One of my favourites was the time that Vic, my brother Bill and I went to Cleveland for a business trip for Mack. Once we were on the plane and getting ready for take off, I was trying very hard not to show Vic how nervous I was about the takeoff. My brother must have told him, because suddenly Vic, who was sitting beside me put out his hand and said 'will this help?' I grabbed his hand and hung on like it was a raft in the middle of the Atlantic. As the plane lifted off with me holding Vic's hand for dear life, he suddenly leaned over and said 'If this plane crashes, and they find our bodies holding hands in Lake Ontario, I promise you, I will haunt you throughout eternity!!!' Needless to say, it made me laugh and relax.
I will miss our first Sunday of the month phone calls, the emails and that chuckle when he knew he had successfully pulled one on you. Vic, I have one last request -' please go easy on the Angels, because I know they have never met anyone quite like you.' Sleep well Big Bro, you'll be in my heart forever. Love, Donna xo

Vic was a larger than life member of the Mack Truck Family. His dry humor and quick wit would always put a smile on peoples faces. He could find humor in difficult situations and practical jokes amongst his co-workers was not an uncommon event.
He will be missed by many. Our prayers and thoughts go to his family.

Vic was built like a Mack Truck.
I ran into him a few times in the grocery store. He seemed happy in his retirement and we shared great memories of Mack truck.
A great guy and a pleasure to know.
I know he will be missed.

Vic - what a personality with an incredible sense of humour. I remember the day I was running copies at the Xerox machine when along came Vic. He said; "Bernie, have you lost weight"? I replied "No". He said; "I didn't think so". It still makes me smile. I will miss his daily emails. I'm sure his children and grandchildren, who he was so proud of, will miss him terrible. God rest your soul Vic. I will never forget you.

I was shocked to hear of Victor's sudden passing, altho we have been cousin's for life, it has only been the last couple of years that we have been in contact thanks to the computer. I looked forward to his many emails, especially the jokes and also the ones with lessons to be learned. I have saved many of them to be enjoyed over and over again. He was very proud of his family and especially his grandchildren..and I received several with pictures and stories of the antics of the "triplets".
My condolences goes out to all of his family...and especially to "Aunt Lil...."..You are all in my prayers...

Vic and I have known each other since we were 13 and 15. We had wonderful times together as teenagers. I was very close to his mom and worked in her hair salon when I was 14. Vic and I have maintained a very dear friendship for 53 years. I thought he would be there forever. I thought he would be there forever. I miss him terribly, his e-mails, his wit, his love. My heart breaks for his mom, Lily, and his kids and especially the grandkids who will miss out on having such a great guy in their lives. I hope their memories will sustain them.
Much love to all.
