Obituary of Leslie Maxwell McMillan

McMILLAN, Leslie Maxwell (Max) Peacefully, at the New Village Retirement Home, on Friday, March 4, 2011, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Helen. Dear brother of Pauline (Jack Dovey). Loved father of Martha (Steve Testa), William Sleeth (Maria Claudia), Gordon Sleeth (Kathy), and Lynn McLean (Rick). Loving grandpa to Erin (Allen Cook), Will McLean, Jennifer McLean, Olivia and Anthony Testa and great-grandson Ethan Cook. Max was a former councilor with the Town of Stoney Creek and a retired employee of Hercules, Burlington. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, March 9th from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. In Max's memory, donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
