Obituary of Edna Marie McMillan

McMILLAN, Edna Marie Suddenly, on December 14, 2012, Dr. Edna Marie McMillan of Stoney Creek passed away. Born June 14, 1937 in Simcoe, Ontario to the parents of Fred and Kate McMillan of Port Dover. She was the wife to the late Mike Miller of Hamilton. Sister of loving brother Stan McMillan and his wife Mary Avila of London. Aunt of 17 nieces and nephews. Throughout her life she was devoted to education, after she received her Doctorate of Education from Atlanta, Georgia. She spent many years working in the gifted children's program. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, Ontario on Tuesday, December 18, from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
