Obituary of Archibald (Archie) Alexander McLaren

MCLAREN, Archibald Alexander (Archie) Peacefully at the New Village Retirement Home on Friday, September 26, 2008 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his brothers Muir (and his wife Dorothy), Campbell and his sister Helen. Lovingly remembered by his two nephews Robert and his wife Diane of Beamsville and their children; Scott, Mark and Michael, and Donald of Winona and his children; Janice, Andrew, Nathaniel and their mother Diane. Archie was a WW II Veteran having served in Europe and Britain. Special thanks to the Nursing Staff at the New Village Retirement Home for all of their care and compassion toward Archie. The funeral service will be held at Cheyne Presbyterian Church (King St. and First St., Stoney Creek) on Monday, September 29th at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment Fifty Cemetery, Winona. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Cheyne Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family. (Donald V.
