MCKIBBON, Dora (Gowland nee Penfold) At. St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, September 26, 2008, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Edgar Gowland and Francis McKibbon. Loving mother of Patricia Brezden (Marvin), Douglas Gowland (Susan), Larry Gowland (Judy). Loved grandma of Wayne Brezden, Gail Cappelli, Steve Brezden, Paul Gowland, Jason Gowland, Craig Gowland, Spencer Gowland and great-grandma of P.J. and Ashley Gowland, Sydney and Lauren Cappelli, Stiles Cage and Rachel Gowland, and David and Jessica Gowland. Dear sister of Vera Purcell. Predeceased by Blanche Alway, Ena Putman, Verne Penfold, Harry Penfold. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, September 29 at 11 a.m. Interment St. George’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
