Obituary of Hughena Mary McFeeters

MCFEETERS, Hughena Mary Peacefully on Monday, October 13, 2008, with her family by her side in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late John Oscar McFeeters. Loving mother of Hugh of Glanbrook, Audrey and her husband David Preston of Hamilton, Margaret Bennett of Blackheath. Predeceased by her daughter Joan, her daughter-in-law Lillian and her sons-in-law Herbert Vyce and Neil Bennett. Lovingly remembered by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. Also predeceased by her sister Amy Lambert of Brechin and her brother J.C. Sproule of Cannington. Mary was a member of Emmanuel United Church, Past Mother Advisor for the Order of Rainbow Girls Assembly #1 and Grand Cross member, Past Matron of Excelsior Chapter 85 O.E.S. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 17th at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
